Guard Towers

A basic guard tower

A Guard Tower is a special structure that can be crafted that will spawn guard mobs that are loyal to your nation. The guards will spawn when a non nation member is nearby,

There are other Guard Tower designs that can be found. Some have different types of guard mobs. The basic tower design can be crafted on a crafting table.

The guards will attack any player that your nation has set as hostile, or any entity that harms a nation member. You can summon the guards by pressing the button on the spawner.

Each guard tower has a heath value, when a guard is killed by a player the heath of the tower decreases. When the health reaches zero the tower will be destroyed if it is located outside of a town, or will go inactive if it is inside a town.
The health increases slowly over time.

Right clicking the spawner block will show information about the guard tower.
You can also set options on the guard tower such as: should the guards kill neutral players or not.
Breaking the spawner will destroy the guard tower.

A Guard

Guard towers have a cost that is paid by the nation coffers when they are placed. This money is refunded when the spawner is broken, depending on the health of the tower.

Make sure you set your nations banner using the /nation setbanner command. Your nation banner will appear on your guard towers.

Camps

A Camp Tent

Camps work exactly the same as Guard Towers except they have two additional features:

  • When a nation member dies nearby they will spawn at the camp.
  • They can start a Siege against another town.
Camps are helpful if you need a respawn point that is not near your town. Or if you don't have a town yet. Camps spawn guards the same way guard towers do. When a Camp respawns a player, it decreases the camp's health.
If your camp is near an enemy town, you should see it listed when you right-click the camp spawner block. You can then launch an attack on their town, at that point the camp will turn into a Warcamp.

Warcamps

A Warcamp is a camp that is being used in a Siege to suppress the towns block protections. A warcamp will still spawn guards, but killing them will not affect the health of the warcamp. The health of a warcamp will slowly decrease over time and when players spawn at it. The Siege ends when all the Warcamps reach zero health, or the Nexus is brought to the Warcamp. When this happens a portal will spawn where the Warcmap was that will return players to their towns.

There is a lot to know about Sieges before you launch your first attack, make sure to read about the War System first.
